Experience and expertise

I draw my strengths from being an integrated creative professional with 35 years of global experience, handling both Head of Agency and Head of Creative responsibilities. Over a decade of this has been in the digital and integrated communication space with global awards and international jury positions.

This also includes promotions and events, ambient, on-ground and shopper marketing experiences, healthcare communication and consumer touchpoint related activities for large global brands, with digital innovation at the heart of the campaigns.

An exponent of a unique integration-oriented creative expression, backed by big brand experience across online, above-the-line and below-the-line media and a specialisation in touchpoint marketing, I feel I am richer for my work experience in the US, the UK, Hong Kong and India.

Milestones and track record

Till recently I was ECD Momentum Worldwide UK, overseeing Manchester and London and working on EMEA initiatives. Prior to this I was Managing Director of Syzygy UK. (I have worn head of business and head of creative hats on quite a few occasions.)

My last job before relocating from India was President & National Creative Director heading RMG Connect (JWT) overseeing offices in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore. Prior to that, I was National Creative Director across five DDB business units – Tribal DDB, Rapp Collins, DDB Health & Lifestyle, DDB’s ambient/outdoor unit and its events and promotions company.

As an entrepreneur, I have been on the board of an Intel-funded dotcom enterprise servicing clients in the US, Europe and Hong Kong, leading a 250-strong team. I have also been a member of global task forces on brands such as Nestle, Unilever, Ford and Citibank.

Awards and accolades

I am happy to add that I am a consistent international award-winner and a jury member at all leading international festivals – Cannes Lions, One Show, Clio, Art Directors Club, New York Fest and Caples.

In addition, I am invited to speak regularly at various international fora such as the Latin American Advertising Festival, Eurobest, WHO Geneva and the One Show. I have been a regular contributor to Campaign, Times of India, Impact, Agencyfaqs, The Brand Reporter, Exchange4media, Contagious, iMedia Connection and Directory.

In recent times I have written a book on consumer-brand dynamics. The Me Era™ – marketing in an age when consumers are the real brands and brands are the real consumers. I am a mentor at the School Of Communication Arts, London and a pro bono contributor towards the WWF “Save The Tiger” initiative.
